Stir It Up Cuisine is a full service catering and event planning service. We can design your menu and create the atmosphere that suits your special occasion. From barbecues to graduations, birthdays to Quinceañera, we'll bring the flavor of the islands to guests at your next event.
Stir It Up Cuisine is pleased to work with your event planner. We will compliment their services and are happy to provide you with any services that you may need.
No matter what the size of your event, Stir It Up Cuisine will provide a beautiful buffet table, including table linens and serving dishes matching the theme of your event.
For small parties Stir It Up Cuisine is happy to take care of all your needs. We can coordinate all rentals for linens, tableware and serving pieces. We will take care of all delivery arrangements and set up, leaving you free to prepare for your event and your guests.
In addition to Stir It Up Cuisine’s regular service, we can coordinate rentals, floral arrangements and your event. We can transform any venue to your taste and personalize it for your event including weddings, anniversary parties and religious celebrations. Our catering consultant can assist you with:
Developing the perfect menu
Hiring wait staff
Setting up tables, chairs, linens and all rentals
Clearing up space throughout the event
Cutting the cake if needed
HOW DO YOU DETERMINE PRICING?
Our pricing is determined on an individual basis and depends on the number of people at your event, the amount of prep time, your choice of menu, the number of wait and serving staff, and décor.
IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
A $1,000 deposit is required to hold the date for your event. In addition, four weeks prior to your event a 50% deposit is required. The remainder of your balance will be due two weeks prior to your event.
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Stir It Up Cuisine accepts deposits and payments in the form of Bank checks, Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK MY EVENT WITH YOU?
Two weeks is the minimum time needed for us to plan and cater your event.
CAN YOU HELP ME DESIGN A MENU?
Of course! Stir It Up Cuisine will create a customized menu for your event and that will cater to all of your guests needs. We offer both Caribbean and traditional menu options that can be combined to make your event special and unique.
DO YOU MAKE ALL OF YOUR OWN FOOD?
Yes. We do not use pre-made products. Everything on our menu is made from scratch with a unique Caribbean flair.
CAN YOU PLAN MY PARTY INCLUDING RENTALS AND DECOR?
Stir It Up Cuisine is a full service catering and event planning service. We can design your menu and create the atmosphere that suits your special occasion. We will coordinate all aspects of your event including food, table décor, rentals, venue and entertainment.
HOW MANY SERVERS WILL I NEED?
The number of servers is determined by the type of event (buffet or seated) and the number of people at your event. On average we hire one wait staff for every 25-30 people for a seated dinner and five staff for a buffet.
HOW MUCH SET UP TIME IS NEEDED PRIOR TO THE START OF MY EVENT?
Set up time depends on the type of event you are having. If Stir It Up Cuisine is only providing catering services, we typically require three hours prior to you event start time. For event planning and catering we prefer to have access to your venue for the entire day of the event.
CAN YOU COORDINATE MY RENTALS SINCE I WILL NEED PLATES, LINENS, SIVERWARE, ETC?
Of course! Stir It Up Cuisine is happy to coordinate all rental service from tableware and serving pieces to linens. Stir It Up Cuisine also has two white tents available for rental for your outdoor events (10 x 10 feet and 10 x 20 feet).
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER?
Stir It Up Cuisine does not have a minimum order. We cater small intimate dinner parties of four to six guests to large events of 100 or more guests.
DO YOU DELIVER?
Of course! Stir It Up Cuisine will deliver everything needed for you event. We also offer a selection of a la carte menu items for a delivery fee of $40.
